 It's not clear what his criteria are for who is a Mama and who is a Dada. He'll thumb through the LL Bean catalog, usually calling women's clothing Mama and men's clothing Dada. Virtually everyone he sees on TV is either Mama or Dada based upon whom they look more like. We still don't understand why Connie Chung is Dada, especially since my wife is Chinese. But my wife found it rather amusing that he thought a frog was Dada. Dada Clothing: There's a clothing label called "dada"? What do the clothes look like? Dada Clothing: Certain clothing has segment cross-over appeal (cross-branding) like Echo, Pelle Pelle, Fubu, etc. but then you have G's who wear thangs like Thug Wear, Player's University, Jordans, Damani Dada, FUBU jerseys etc. and you have items that appeal to backpackers (suede Pumas, shell toes, Timbos, Helly Hansen, etc.) Clothing is also regional in taste, which is anotha segment inside the segments. Most folks down here don't have a use for a leather Avirex jacket or a bubble goose, it's 90 degrees 80-percent of the year.
