J.Lo Clothing: But Ortiz had a lot of competition yesterday in mimicking the singer-actress, as thousands of look-alikes mobbed Macy's in Herald Square in hopes of being chosen in a model search for girls to represent the J.Lo by Jennifer Lopez clothing line. "She's talented and she's a great dancer," Ortiz said as she stepped off the runway where she had just a few seconds to dazzle a panel of judges.

J.Lo Clothing: Jaime Cote, a representative of the J. Lo clothing line, said Lopez "is looking for a girl with multicultural appeal and a strong sense of self, who is energetic, sexy and confident — like Jennifer." Ortiz was among many hopefuls who wanted to be a Jennifer.

J.Lo Clothing: Jennifer Lopez is adding a new label: J. Lo by Jennifer Lopez. That will be the name of her new clothing line, a joint venture with Andy Hilfiger, to be announced at a press conference today at the St. Regis Hotel in L.A. Hilfiger, brother of designer Tommy Hilfiger, is public relations VP at his brother's company, and will deal with production and marketing for the Lopez line. Several looks from the first collection will be shown today, so we'll find out just how revealing they may be.
