This is more of a hygiene question. How many showers should >you use a bath towel before dropping it into the dirty >laundry pile? One? Two? When the dirt transfer is going in the >wrong direction? bath towel: Personally, I wash the dirt off me in the shower, not with my bath towel. When I step out of the shower, I'm the cleanest thing in the house. I strongly suspect that anyone who drops their bath towel into the laundry pile after one shower isn't the one actually doing the laundry. bath towel: Speaking of towels. For unexplained reasons the towels in our room did a one-by-one-a-day disappearing act. By our last day we had one bath towel, no hand towels, and no wash cloths. Since we were doing an early check out and needed to catch an early flight we just made do with the one bath towel. bath towel: I sure as Hell wouldn't go out ANYWHERE without completing my post- shower dry-off, applying my anti-persperant/deodorant, combing my hair, brushing my teeth, getting dressed, putting on my shoes, and -- depend- ing on the season -- putting on my coat and gloves. So, no, trying to find a dance club where someone could dry me off isn't an option. I'd much rather use a bath towel or, since you seem to be passing yourself off as a bath towel, you. bath towel: I use one bath towel for body and a second one to wrap around my hair after my morning shower; I use a washcloth to wash my face at night, and I use a hand towel for drying my hands and face throughout the day and at night. DH uses just one bath towel and one hand towel. (He shaves with an electric razor.) Everything hangs neatly on towel bars so it dries between uses.
