Baby Bib This all cotton, white, two-sided terry cloth bib has a soft stretchable neckband, which slips over the baby’s head easily. The bib has a 2.25” (30 squares high), 14 count stitchable insert. $5.70 Baby Booties These booties are designed for newborns and can be stitched in a couple of hours. The stitchable area is 14 count Royal Classic Aida. Around the top of the bootie is a soft stretchy cotton knit that forms to the baby’s feet making it difficult to kick off. bib: Baby bib to drool for (or on, depending on your prospective.) I did this with some vinyl I found on sale. Since it is a bib, and since the vinyl could be turned to face the inside (so the terry outside absorbs the most wet stuff) I didn't care what the vinyl was printed with, (that is, the color or the pattern) and I faced it with terry using a bib pattern (the over the shoulders and tummy kind) and cut the main parts out of both the vinyl and the terry, and used bias tape to finish it up and bind it off as ties in the back. Worked well for my little one. bib: I'm looking for a pattern for a baby bib that is a duck, and the duck's neck goes around the baby's neck and the the ducks head attaches with velcro to the front of the bib (the ducks body). I have searched all the pattern books and craft stores and haven't seen anything even similar. bib: If you use good materials, e.g. DMC or Anchor thread, then treat it the same as any other baby bib. Throw it into the washing machine on a daily basis with any sort of detergent and/or bleach. At the end of 6 months or so, the material the bib is made of may be a little tired and frayed, but the stitching will be as good as new.
