 Lots of white kids wear FUBU clothes, and they know exactly what FUBU stands for, and it doesn't bother them a bit. It's a brand favored by hip hop fans - their clothes are designed to appeal to a certain lifestyle. I doubt you can say the same about "88" clothes and black kids - I don't know a black kid who would be seen wearing the number "88". It would be akin to a Jewish kid wearing a swastika. fubu clothes: The fact is, there were a lot of clothing lines favored by African Americans (Hilfiger and Timberland come to mind), but until FUBU came along, none of those clothing lines were designed or owned by African Americans. If FUBU clothes bother you, by all means, boycott the stores which carry them. I'd never describe myself as anything but an American. Maybe we all take pride we live in this great land as one "un hypenated" people.
