like many of you, sometimes i just happen to pick up on some shit before others because of the internet. not because i'm a hip hop head. i'm just some regular guy thats been listening to hip hop for a good while now, and i'm also into a whole lot of other shit too. i don't participate in any other aspect, or element, i just listen. you'll never catch me wearing (made for) hip hop clothing, or any type of clothing that might label me as some type of head, whether it be music, cars or star trek like strat-j/k. i'm just me, and i'm sorry if i disappointed some of my friends i used to kick it with but like natty said i just listen to music and buy the albums as far as support goes.hip hop clothing: Their opinions don't mean shit to me. Plus alot of that shit is way too loud. I prefer black or other dark colors. The only thing that really influences what I buy is how much is in my bank account not people who have money to burn. Having said that, I don't buy much "hip-hop" clothing. That may explain the legions of mall trash running around in "hip-hop" gear. hip hop clothing: i probably have a dull sense of fashion, but the reason i wouldn't wear most hip hop clothing is because i think it looks corny. as far clothing bringing out my hip hop colors, i'm identified as such by whatever other means, and why would i give a shit to let people know i am hip hop? what kind of false sense is that anyway? i think i'm a lot of other things too, but i don't need or want a different look for everything i associate myself with. hip hop clothing: but i think everything just looks more carbon-copy in hip-hop now because of the emerging clothing lines from the past few years. now it's all about wearing 'hip-hop' clothing like phat farm, fubu, ecko, rocawear and less about chucks, kangols, baggy pants, baggy shirts, khakis, hoodies or whatever we used to wear back in the day.
