Just to fill everyone in, Peg Perego has recalled 3 versions of their high chair (Prima Pappa, Pappa and Nanna, and the Prima Pappa Roller) for allowing heads to be trapped between the tray and seat when in a reclined position. Here is the site ( www.perego.com peg perego high chair: WASHINGTON, D.C.- In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Peg Perego USA Inc., of Ft. Wayne, Ind., is voluntarily recalling about 325,000 high chairs. When the seat is reclined, the high chairs have a space between the armrest and backrest in which a child's head or arm can become entrapped. This can pose a risk of suffocation or injury to the heads or arms of young children peg perego high chair: The recalled high chairs have seats that can be raised or lowered, and a lever on the back of the chair that allows the seat to be tilted back. The recalled chairs are the "Prima Pappa," "Roller," and "Martinelli Pappa and Nanna." The model names are located on the footrest or the seat back. A sticker on the brace connecting the front leg to the back leg reads in part, "Peg-Perego" and "Italy." peg perego high chair: The place to start is to go to Babies R Us and fiddle with several different ones. :-) Or to any other baby stores, but I suggest BRU because they generally carry Chicco, Peg Perego *and* Graco, plus other brands, whereas many smaller baby stores only carry one or two models of high chair. peg perego high chair: I definitely agree on the assessment of the Peg Perego high chair. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't take the tray of with just one hand and didn't have wheels to move the chair around. The chair we bought 2 years ago does have locks on the wheels. It also reclines for children who can't sit up well yet (or fall asleep while eating dinner :) ). I also love that it adjusts up and down for height. So, you can lower it down and use it at the table without the tray.
