I used the bassinet for all three babies. I didn't buy a play pen until dd2 was born. I used the play pen more for the older child to play with small toys in or sometimes I would put the baby in it for a while. -- Sue mom to three girls play pen: Does anyone know of anything suitable to use as a Kitty Play Pen? I suppose an abandoned child play pen w/ a jerry-rigged lid might work - but I don't happen to have one. Any other brilliant ideas? Thanks in advance! Why not make a little fenced in area for them. You could even leave them alone in there if you covered the top with chicken wire. Then you could let the grass and weeds grow in there, and they could have a good time hiding and chasing the bugs in there. play pen: Oh No!!! Josh climbed in and out of his play pen today. What are we going to do now when we want to put him in a "safe" place when we are mopping the floor, cleaning up a messy spill, taking a shower, etc. The shower is the big thing. He can open bathroom doors so I if he woke up before I had a chance to shower (sometimes he did) I would put him in his play pen and put Barney on (please don't flame me for using Barney as a babysitter). play pen: The item from the lillion vernon catalog was the little baby Tent that Cam had. The gate was mine that was from the JCPenny store. If you goto my site below, you should see a pic of both of those items somewhere in the BunFest '99 pics. The tent is a little blue one. The play pen IS hard plastic, and no one has gotten out of it get via chewing. Pushing it over when unsecured is another story!! And it IS a regular Children's play pen. I remember when I bought it, it was about 65.00, but then I found it later at a Walmart cheaper. play pen: How about letting map designers set up an play pen area for waiting players. Rather than waiting to enter or sitting there with a D by your name, how about having a region of the map set aside for the losers to play in. They could shoot each other etc and it wouldnt affect scores or kill ratios. When the round starts your just yanked back to your home base.
